The Armor of God by Pricilla Shirer
All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny.
But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you.
The enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer’s inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.
The Gathering will begin Wednesday, February 5th and wrap up by April 8th. There is a morning and an evening study. $25 includes your book for the semester. Childcare is available during the morning study. Please register by January 6th.
Equipped to Love: A Basic Bible Study Approach
January 5 – February 2, 2020
“Sound Bible study transforms the heart by training the mind and it places God at the center of the story.” A transformative time in the Word helps us relate well to God and other people. Using the principles outlined in Jen Wilkin’s Women of the Word, we will work together through the prophet Joel. Come join with other women for a 4 week workshop, in which we are encouraged and equipped to behold God and grow in biblical literacy.
Reading the book Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin before attending the workshop is highly recommended. The book can be found on Amazon.
This bible study will take place during the 8:30am service in the 4th-5th classroom on January 5, 12, 26, and February 2.
Please register by January 1st.
