Danny and Leslie Hulls

Danny and Leslie Hulls with their children, Evelyn, Caleb and Jackson have served with Mission Aviation Fellowship since 2004. The Hulls family spent twelve years living and working among the Basotho people of Lesotho, Africa. Danny served as Chief Pilot for many years, responsible to train the new MAF pilots coming to Lesotho.

In addition to flying doctors, missionaries, nationals and supplies, Danny has spent a lot of time training new MAF pilots to fly in this mountainous terrain, since becoming Chief Pilot in 2009. When he is not out flying, Danny and Evi sometimes get to spend time together visiting with the kids in the pediatric section of the local hospital, which they both find quite rewarding.

Danny and Leslie loved raising their children in Lesotho, but education became more of a challenge as Evi entered middle school. In 2017 the Hulls prayerfully decided that it was time to transition out of Lesotho. In June of that year, they said goodbye to their life in Lesotho and returned to the U.S. in order to begin a new season of ministry with MAF in the Technical Resources Department. Here Danny uses his experience as a pilot and mechanic to help support field locations around the world.
